ACCESS launched the beta edition of their NetFront Browser Widgets community site.

ACCESS launched the NetFront Browser Widgets community portal, where users can download and try widgets for free from lots of categories. Widgets are such small applications that offer access for some kind of online content, like exchange rates, local weather forecast, maps, games, or chat, directly on the screen of the device without opening up a browser. To access the services of the ACCESS community site, the free beta version of NetFront Browser Widgets Player for Windows Mobile 5.0 and 6.0 is required. ACCESS will soon provide widget development tools, so the number of mini-applications might increase. The NetFront Browser Widgets site is available in English and Japanese at the address http://www.access.co.jp/nfbwc/, where the application needed to run the widgets can also be downloaded.
