Although it is not yet officially available, Philips X800 has already been reviewed many times, attracting attention with its huge touchscreen and expectedly low price. It is already known that the handset has a 2.9", 240 x 400 pixels large touchscreen, a 2 megapixel autofocus camera, microSD slot and Bluetooth support, Office doccument handling being also provided. The phone has arced shapes and looks a bit chubby based on these pics, but it still has pleasant properties, only the presence is the stylus is what disturbs us. According to preliminary information the handset's display is easy to use and the 1250 mAh battery provides power for a long enough time. The first tests have proven the 8 hours of talk time, which is a great result from a phone with such a large display. The handset is expected to become available soon and then many other details shall be revealed regarding the tests of the final models.
