Intel's internet tablets might be based on HSPA solutions from Ericsson.

Thanks to the cooperation between Ericsson and Intel, internet tablets (MIDs) of the future will include HSPA solutions from Ericsson. The Intel Moorestown platform, planned for the of 2009, early 2010 will support Ericsson's HSPA solution, thanks to which high speed mobile network access will be a basic data transfer function of mobile devices, just like Bluetooth and WLAN. The spreading of 3G networks is getting more prominent with the evolution of mobile networks and the decrease of price in data packages offering unlimited access. Ericsson's HSPA solutions offer GPRS and EDGE transfer as well besides the support for the most advanced HSDPA and HSUPA networks.
