New videos are available of the mid-range UIQ phones from the Japanese-Swedish manufacturer, that exemplify their features much better.

Sony Ericsson G700 and G900 are the first Symbian UIQ-based phones from the manufacturer that have a conventional keyboard, from which we can comfortably access all functions without the need to tap the touchscreen. At least this is the situation in case of G700, as G900 has no conventional menu keys, instead it can be controlled with the menu keys at the bottom of the screen. Both handsets are 106 x 43 x 13 mm large, weigh 99 grams, are based on Symbian UIQ 3.0, have a 2.4" touchscreen with a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels and also sport a conventional keypad but they can be controlled with fingers or with a stylus too. The bigger brother supports WLAN too and has a 5 megapixel autofocus camera, while the other one has to do with a 3.2 MP fix focus camera.
