Philips' latest phone is slim, light and elegant.

Philips 191 is not a high-end piece of equipment, just as its name suggests. The device, which is completely minimalistic in terms of features, has a really pleasant exterior, compared to its category, which might even make it succesful on the market of entry-level phones. The phone with a 1.25", 96 x 64 pixels large monochrome display, has pre-installed 16-channel ringtones, built-in handsfree, calculator, calendar and an alarm clock; all these of course besides the usual voice call and text messaging support. The handset operates on GSM 900/1800 networks, has a size of 104.5 x 45 x 12.8 mm, weighs 59.7 grams, and its price is not yet known, but its bigger brother, Philips 192 with a color display, costs 40 EUR (network-independent) in Europe.
