The 8 megapixel LG KC910 is here

After Sony Ericsson and Samsung LG has also entered the market of cell phones with an 8 megapixel camera. Their phone is an updated edition of LG Viewty. The 8 megapixel camera with Schneider-Kreuznach lens and a Xenon flash can also record videos at 640 x 480 pixels resolution at a speed of 30 frames/second or at a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels and a speed of 120 fps. These can be displayed on a TV too, besides the 3", 240 x 400 pixels large display. Of course DivX and XviD video playback is supported, but the integration of Dolby sound enhancement technologies is a new feature. LG's new phone is not a smartphone, but it still has a GPS receiver and a WLAN module and it can open Word, Excel and Adobe PDF files for reading. LG KC910 has a microSDHC slot (max. 8 GB cards), its size is 107.8 x 55.9 x 14 mm and weighs 114 grams, supports HSDPA and is expected to be launched in October, but its price is not yet known.
