Great review keep them coming.
On the alarms can you set the alarm to repeat say Mon – Friday or just every day.
What new functions have been added since the last couple of software updates?
Can you show us the opera browser I have read on some reviews that the text is unreadable when not zoomed in because the screen is poor, is this the case?

I would also like to know which bluetooth manager is used.
It would be great if widcomm was also included though I doubt it.
Finally it would be nice if the Today theme 1 & 2 are more customable such as more than 3 tabs at the top that scroll...
Thanks for the replies guys!
I'm going to answer your questions in the next review, which will come today or tomorrow.

Hi, thanks for the excellent hands-on posts. I am in the US and expecting my Omnia within the next few days. Could I ask if you could enquire from Samsung if they intend to make rom updates available on the web, are you using any special tools to flash the updates or is it something a user could do?
Also users in Singapore with the first units report very low memory available compared to the official specs - for storage they report about 96MB with approx 48-51MB free; for RAM memory present is reported as 96MB with about 46MB free. What is your memory configuration?
And will Samsung be creating new widgets for users to download or providing the API so developers can make additional useful widgets for the Omnia?
Thanks and hope you can help with these questions.

Great Blog,
I was wondering about the CPU Dhrystone Benchmark which was 89.50 MIPS, this seems very low for a 624MHz CPU. My old HP PDA with a 400MHz CPU is getting 135.
Is the benchmark perhaps not compatible with the i900.
Does anyone know whats happening?
Thanks for all the feedback!
surethom: You'll see a video about Opera in a later post, that should answer Your question. The alarm can repeat and you can choose any day of the week.
Barch: I have forwarded Your question to Samsung. I didn't receive an answer yet, but I'm sure that it will be coming up very soon.
efjay: Don't consider it as official info, but I don't know about any upgrade possibilities for the users. All I can say about the RAM is that the software differs by country, and so does the amount of free memory. On the phone I'm testing there is 63 MB (for running programs) and 37 MB (for storage) free. About the Widgets I do know the answer, but it is unfortunately secret...
zonic: I have been talking with the guys at Samsung about this, the result is really disappointing, even more when compared to the others. I have been told that they are working on it, and I'm absolutely sure that this is true. By the way, it is possible that Pocket PC Mark doesn't use the full potential of the CPU - lots of things would be revealed if we could switch it to maximum frequency, we'll see

I don't think it's Pocket PC Mark that is not using the CPU to it's full potential but perhaps the CPU is working at a lower freq. to conserve power.
Hopefully Samsung will have a SDK so as developers can control CPU speed and power from within their programs, perhaps you could ask them if there will be a SDK.

Thanks for your answer, I now have an Omnia bought from Singapore and have posted a few questions in the comments for part 5 of the Omnia blog as well.
